Why convert a Diesel-car and tank vegetable oil?

  • From both an economic and ecological standpoint, vegetable oils are the best alternatives to mineral Diesel fuel.
  • Vegetable oil is as convenient and flexible to use as traditional fossil fuels.
  • Vegetable oil has an energy density (9,3 kWh/l) similar to that of Diesel fuel (9,8 kWh/l) – therefore handling and acceleration remain the same. Fuel consumption doesn't change, either.

  • The savings in switching from Diesel fuel to vegetable oil are considerable. Using our system you can fill up with rape-oil, or with other oils such as sunflower-oil or soy -> the reduction in cost assures a rapid amortisation of the conversion costs.
  • In regard to storage there are no special requirements, as vegoil is essentially food, and therefore is not a dangerous water contaminant, and is not poisonous or explosive. Vegoil is a completely renewable energy source.
  • Vegoil burns largely CO2-neutrally, as plants release the same quantity of CO2 during combustion as they have taken from the atmosphere when growing.
  • Vegoil is also environmentally friendly regarding other emissions, for example sulphur dioxide, which is responsible for „acid rain“.

  • Vegoil lubricates the fuel injection much better than normal Diesel fuel because of its higher viscosity.
  • The typical Diesel knocking disappears almost completely on account of the very straight and homogenous combustion of vegoil; mechanical stress – especially in the piston rings and parts of the crankshaft – are reduced due to a better pressure balance.
  • Vegoil is – from an economic point of view – of special interest to all those who drive large distances and therefore consume large quantities of fuel.

  • Vegoil is in most countries taxed at the same rate as food (7 % VAT).
  • Vegoil is no Biodiesel: The term Biodiesel means a chemically processed vegoil (methyl ester) which has a worse energy yield and and worse ecological effects than pure vegetable oil; it's about 20 Euro Cents more expensive and aggressive to fuel pipes and washers. Vegoil cars are – like most of the Diesel cars - not to be run on pure Biodiesel.
